MG now offering 10-Year manufacturer warranty

MG is elevating the standards in the New Zealand automotive market by introducing an unprecedented 10-year/250,000km warranty across its entire new vehicle lineup.
This extended warranty is available for new vehicles used under normal conditions, while those used commercially will continue to receive the previous seven-year/160,000km warranty for manufacturing defects.
According to Harrie Yan, COO of MG Motor New Zealand, the brand’s confidence significantly influences new-car buyers, and an extended warranty can be a decisive factor.
“If you’re looking for value and peace of mind from a new car purchase, the length and quality of the factory warranty should be as important as the horsepower.
“We believe our new 10-year warranty for EV, PHEV, Hybrid, and petrol vehicles is the best in the market. It also strengthens trust in our cars.
“From today, every new MG vehicle purchased from an authorized MG dealer across the country will be covered by what we believe is the longest factory warranty in the business.
“MG’s 10-year warranty provides unparalleled peace of mind and ensures comprehensive support for every journey. When it’s time for our customers to upgrade their cars, we want them to turn to us first because we offer a wide range of great products, with more on the way,” said Mr. Yan.
Alongside this news, price-drops for much of the MG range were announced, meaning customers can get in to a zero-emission capable vehicle for as little as $40,990.
