The all-new MG HS

MG recently unveiled the all-new HS SUV. The refreshed lineup, which includes both petrol and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models, aims to take MG's reputation for value further by introducing new features, increased cabin space, and updated styling.
David Allison, Head of Product and Planning at MG Motor UK, emphasized the appeal of the new models: “The outgoing HS SUV has been immensely popular. However, the new SE and Trophy models raise the bar with even more equipment and functionality, a distinctive MG appearance that sets the HS apart from other SUVs, and a choice of advanced petrol and plug-in hybrid powertrains.”
The PHEV variant of the MG HS pairs a 1.5-liter petrol engine with a 154kW electric motor, delivering a combined power output that allows for a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 6.8 seconds. The vehicle also boasts an impressive electric-only driving range of up to 120 kilometres.
The new MG HS is also offered with a new-generation 1.5T petrol engine delivering 125kW and 275Nm of torque, capable of achieving 0-100km/h in 9.4 seconds.
The new MG HS also features a more sophisticated design, with a longer wheelbase for increased interior space, refined exterior proportions, and a suite of tech/connectivity options, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Inside, the HS is equipped with two 12.3-inch high-definition displays, offering a premium driving experience.
