Introducing Classic Defender V8 by Works Bespoke

Classic Defender diehards are now able to get their hands on a fully restored and re-engineered Defender V8, with a huge amount of personalisation on offer.

Land Rover Classic Works Bespoke is offering a unique commissioning service for the world’s most recognisable off-roader, remastered by hand in the UK by highly specialised Land Rover Classic engineers.

The Classic Defender V8 is available in the iconic 90 and 110 body shapes and will be powered by a 405hp 5.0L Land Rover V8 mated to a modern eight-speed ZF auto transmission. Stopping power is provided by performance focused Alcon brakes, and suspension upgrades that include Bilstein dampers enhance both on and off-road performance.

Each example begins as a donor vehicle produced between 2012-2016, before being fully remastered and re-engineered from the ground up to ensure that it has the classic Defender’s trademark reliability.

For the exterior, customers can choose a huge range of colours, from classic Defender paints to modern SV metallics, or even create their own bespoke paint colour. Other exterior elements can also be tweaked, like grilles, bonnet script, door handless and fixings.

The design of the Classic Defender V8’s interior stays true to the original, but the materials have been taken to the next level with high quality leather. Connectivity has also received an upgrade in the form of a 3.5” infotainment display providing Bluetooth connectivity.

Then comes a whole list of other potential upgrades, including the Adventure Pack that provides a rood-tent and ladder, or even a camper conversion that can turn the rear cabin into bespoke living quarters.
