The new Aston Martin Vanquish

Sep 20, 2024

Aston Martin has officially announced the new Vanquish, with the iconic nameplate returning to the top of the model line-up.

The new Vanquish will feature a newly developed V12 engine, while implementing a new blend of cutting-edge technology and timeless design, to deliver a driving experience wholly unique to Aston Martin.

The front of the new Vanquish clearly aligns with Aston’s current design language with recognisable headlights and huge front grille, while the rear is a new design philosophy for the production-line, taking huge inspiration from the one-off Victor.

The new 5.2L twin-turbocharged V12 engine produces 835hp and an immense 1000Nm of torque, while an optimised final-drive ratio allows this powertrain to push the Vanquish to a top-speed of 345km/h.

Aston Martin Chief Technical Officer, Roberto Fedeli said: “It was inconceivable that a new Aston Martin flagship should be powered by anything other than a state-of-the-art V12. To this end our engineering team completely reworked our existing 5.2-litre Twin-Turbo engine from block casting to cylinder heads. With ambitious targets for gains in power and torque, plus equally tough goals for improvements in driveability, efficiency and global emissions compliance, the result is a modern masterpiece.”

The interior design reflects what we expect from Aston Martin, with high-quality leather as far as the eye can see, bespoke detailing, and their latest in-car tech which can be found in the DB12 and Vantage.
